MARTIAN SPORTS SKILLS AND STOP IT GOALTENDING

TO OFFER 8-WEEK GOALTENDING INSTRUCTION

FOR THE SUMMER OF 2011

MARTIAN SPORTS SKILLS AND BRIAN DACORD’S STOP IT GOALTENDING WILL COMBINE EFFORTS TO OFFER OUR POPULAR ONCE A WEEK GOALTENDING SKILLS. OUR PROGRAM

PROVIDES A STRUCTURED PROGRAM BASED ON EARLY GOALIE FUNDAMENTALS. WE WILL PROVIDE INSTRUCTION TO YOUNG GOALIES THAT ARE TRUE BEGINERS AS WELL AS GOALTENDERS WITH ADVANCED SKILLS. GOALIES WILL BE TRAINED ON A 3-1 RATION AND DIVIDED BY SKILL AND AGE.

OUR PROGRAM IS DESIGNED AROUND

GOALIES WHO WANT INSTRUCTION FROM A PROFESSIONAL STAFF WEEKLY THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. THIS FORMAT ALLOWS YOUR GOALTENDER TO SHARPEN HIS OR HER SKILLS OVER A LONG PERIOD AND THROUGH REPITITION, RETAIN THE MECHANICS NECESSARY TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THE NET. ..

ALL GOALIES WILL BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR XICE GAMES AND MARTIAN CUP TOURNAMENT.

Stop it Goaltending (formerly Superskills Goaltending) has had tremendous success in developing goaltenders of all levels and ability. Over the past six years alone Superskills has helped develop 20 NHL draft picks and we have over 50 goalies that have gone onto play major college hockey. We are proud of the success of these goaltenders but we are equally as proud of the instruction that we give the youth hockey goalie so that they can maximize their abilities and get the most enjoyment possible from the position and sport.
